#16 – Kirk Brown

Kirk Brown is Centre Teacher at Dhamma Dipa Meditation Centre and has praticed Vipassana Meditation for over 40 years. Vipassana means ‘to see things as they really are’ and is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. It goes back to Buddha two and a half thousand years ago and was taught by him as a remedy for all universal ills. This is a technique and is non religious and so can be used by people from all cultures and backgrounds. It’s aim is for the complete removal of mental impurities and to result in a person’s full liberation and happiness.
