#62 – Larry Smith

A tale goes, that Ernest Hemingway was once challenged in a bar bet to write a story using only six words, what he wrote was “For sale: baby shoes, never worn” Larry Smith adapted this idea to be a memoir. The concept is simple: tell the story of your life in exactly six words. Since launching this project in November 2006 it has received HUGE attention and Larry has collected more than 1 million six-word memoirs from people all around the globe. He has since published, 10 books, done a TEDx talk and spoken at some of the worlds top companies such as Google, ESPN, Levi’s, Twitter and Dell on topics such as; ‘the power of personal storytelling’ and ‘how a simple idea can make a big difference’.
