When Christian Picciolini was 14 he joined America’s first neo-Nazi skinhead group. He quickly rose up through the ranks and by 18 he was second in command and helping to recruit and organise cells across the country. He helped to soften the neo-Nazis’ external image and political language they used so as to attract individuals who would otherwise not have been willing to join the movement. However at 22 he left the group and has since dedicated the last 20+ years of his life to help atone for his grisly past and try and make something of his time on this planet by contributing to the greater good. In 2009 he co-founded ‘Life After Hate’ a nonprofit that helps people disengage from hate and violent extremism. He is an author, an Emmy Award-winning television producer and a prolific public speaker with a burning mission to: eradicate the world of racism.
