When Kristen Hadeed was a junior in college she founded a company by mistake, what started as a way to make enough money to buy a pair of jeans she wanted quickly turned into something way bigger. She had no idea that her little side project would turn into a career. At 21 Kristen turned down a 6 figure job in finance to continue growing her company which now has 2 locations and more than 500 employees. She is well known for her TEDx talk entitled: “How to Retire by 20,” which has more than 1.7 million views and she recently landed a book deal in hopes to continue spreading her message. She spends most of her time traveling the country speaking to college students about leadership and corporations about engaging millennials.

A tale goes, that Ernest Hemingway was once challenged in a bar bet to write a story using only six words, what he wrote was “For sale: baby shoes, never worn” Larry Smith adapted this idea to be a memoir. The concept is simple: tell the story of your life in exactly six words. Since launching this project in November 2006 it has received HUGE attention and Larry has collected more than 1 million six-word memoirs from people all around the globe. He has since published, 10 books, done a TEDx talk and spoken at some of the worlds top companies such as Google, ESPN, Levi’s, Twitter and Dell on topics such as; ‘the power of personal storytelling’ and ‘how a simple idea can make a big difference’.

Idriz Zogaj is a memory athlete and brain personal trainer. Who was Sweden’s best memory for 5 consecutive years and has recently captained the Swedish national team to a Memory World Championship Gold medal in 2014. He was the first Swedish person to memorise more than 1,000 binary numbers (ones and zeroes) in 30 minutes. Was the first Swede to memorise an entire deck of cards in 5 minutes, then the first to do it in 4 minutes and then first to do so in just 3 minutes. He is the founder and chairman of the Swedish Memory Association and has trained anyone from 3 years olds upto to 93 year olds, top executives to world-class and elite athletes, so when it comes to memory we’d struggle to find a better source to talk to.
Dr Ivan Joseph is an award winning performance coach, leadership and transformation expert and his TEDx talk entitled ‘The Skill of Self Confidence’ is one of the most watched of all time. While serving as a professor and soccer coach at Graceland University, Dr. Joseph developed the school’s soccer program from the ground up, leading both the men’s and women’s teams to a #1 national ranking and the men’s team to a national championship, in just five years, and he’s been presented with the National Coach of the Year Award as well as many other accolades.
