Alastair Humphreys has been named as National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year, he has written 7 books about his experiences which include; spending 4 years cycling around the world through 60 countries and more than 46,000 miles. He has walked across India, rowed the Atlantic ocean and been on expeditions to the Arctic. He has Spoken at 2 TEDx events and is a pioneer of the concept of Microadventures, which are all about encouraging people to get outside, get out of their comfort zone and go somewhere they’ve never been before.
